Makeup artist brings Ralph Wiggum, Shrek, and more to life using just her face

Pop culture-based makeup tutorials are nothing new, with online cosmetics experts using YouTube to teach interested parties how to re-create everything from Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” eyes to how to bust out the braids and brows of Daenerys Targaryen. Laura Jenkinson is taking the whole fictional character thing a bit further with her Instagram series, which finds the U.K.-based makeup artist using her face—or, more specifically, her mouth—as the basis for elaborate cartoon illustrations. It’s a little hard to explain, but just take a look at some of the images below, and you’ll get it.
