Now that the TV season is drawing to a close, it’s time to catch up on great shows you might have missed thus far. Co-creator and lead Rachel Bloom won a Golden Globe for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend right out of the gate, as well as many critical accolades for somehow pulling off a musical TV show that manages to have wonderful songs and explore relationships and mental issues. We highly recommend it, and right now you can download every episode off of iTunes for free, so you will have it forever. Since the show currently has better reviews than ratings, the CW has been aggressively marketing in an effort not just to boost ratings, but to increase the chances of some future Emmy nominations.

In the meantime, your permanent downloads will give you lots of opportunities to get to know Rebecca Bunch on her new life adventure to West Covina, California, where she stalks/hangs out with her old camp boyfriend, Josh. In the meantime, she makes new friends like workmate Paula and sarcastic Greg, who may be a better romantic match for her than the one she has her heart set on. All of these tremendously talented cast members get their moments to shine, like Greg (Santino Fontana)’s movie-musical homage “Settle For Me,” or Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin)’s torch song “After Everything I Have Done For You.” Bloom herself offers funny and poignant numbers like “Oh My God I Think I Like You,” about realizing that a FWB has turned into something more, or the self-flagellation ballad “You Stupid Bitch,” or an epic rap battle against her old Jewish-American Princess rival. All not to be missed, and with this iTunes deal, there’s no reason not to watch them all.
