Guaranteeing that all our celebrity friends will continue to have a good time at their fancy champagne party, the Golden Globes have locked down Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to host its ceremonies in both 2014 and 2015. The duo’s debut as hosts brought the Globes a six-year ratings high and generated some much-needed post-Ricky Gervais positive feedback, from everyone who doesn’t see that they are just more liberals hell-bent on destroying America with their socialist agenda, as seen in the reassuringly consistent, bullet-riddled and constantly on fire comment section of The Hollywood Reporter. So it’s easy to see why the Hollywood Foreign Press Association would want to lock them down, possibly literally, barring Fey and Poehler inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the next decade or so until they become stir-crazy, Grey Gardens-like shut-ins, hosting imaginary awards ceremonies for the dust and mice. Even then they would still be incredibly charming.
