So it turns out Bill Hader is a big old nerd. He proved his nerd cred on last night’s Conan, where he whipped out two oddly specific Star Wars impressions. While anyone can do “I am your father” or “These aren’t the droids you’re looking for,” few have mastered a dying Jabba the Hutt or Tauntaun quite like this. Hader claims he’s been working on the impressions since “third grade” (much like his former SNL costar Taran Killam, who managed a spot-on recreation of the ’90s X-Men cartoon from his own childhood). Given that this is a post Stephen-Colbert-Hobbit-cameo world, and Hader presumably has an open schedule since leaving SNL last spring, there’s always the slim chance he’ll find a place somewhere in the rebooted Stars Wars. Help him J.J. Abrams, you’re his only hope.
