The Los Angeles-based Futures League is surfing a modern wave of ‘60s influenced psych and garage pop, just like so many other bands from the same area. What makes The Futures League stand out, though, is the way the band blends modern sounds with retro aesthetics, something that’s clearly evident on the band’s new EP, Don’t Be A Drag.
