With the new season of Game Of Thrones rapidly approaching, what better time to look back at every beheading, stabbing, drowning, and wildfiring the series has portrayed so far? The folks over at Digg have compiled all of the series’ onscreen deaths—5,179 to be exact—into one murderous video pleasantly set to Bye Bye Birdie’s “Put On A Happy Face.” Spoilers abound, obviously. There’s even a nice little body count in the bottom corner, whose numbers spike from 77 to 5,077 as soon as the Blackwater wildfire ignites (which the video’s creators credit to an estimate from a wiki article). It’s a great way to catch up on who’s dead—or, more easily, who’s still alive—before Sunday’s premiere.
