A bunch of middle-schoolers did a shot-for-shot remake of the Ghostbusters trailer

What a strange age we live in, when a bunch of middle-schoolers doing a genderswap shot-for-shot remake of the Ghostbusters trailer—the kind of thing that kids (your author included) have been doing at camps and junior filmmaking classes and with their moms’ camcorders for years—could be seen by thousands of strangers on the Internet. That doesn’t make it any less charming, of course, and while “GhostBOSters Trailer” can’t match the ambition of the shot-for-shot remake of Raiders Of The Lost Ark made by three kids in Mississippi in 1982 (what can?), this trailer should give anybody who spent their summer vacations “playing movie” way too seriously some serious nostalgia.
