Nickelodeon to help Generation Y remember the '90s

In news that already has excited our own Marah Eakin, for obvious reasons, and should similarly invigorate fellow fans of the sort of loud, neon Nickelodeon programs that defined the go-go ’90s, TeenNick has announced that it will launch a new “The ’90s Are All That” nostalgia block for people who are getting older and increasingly wistful about shit. Starting this fall, shows like Rugrats, The Adventures Of Pete And Pete, The Amanda Bynes Show, All That, and Kenan & Kel will begin airing in a new midnight to 2 a.m. block—the perfect hour for wee-hours musing on how you used to think you were so much smarter than all the grownups, and life seemed so much more full of endless possibility then. (On a personal note, the block will also include reruns of Clarissa Explains It All, so my near-20 years of being confused for the guy who played “Sam” on that show will continue unabated for the foreseeable future.)
